MyFortniteStats is an independent, fan-made stat tracking tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Epic Games or Fortnite.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to provide our services. This includes:

  • Fortnite player data: Usernames, game statistics, match history, and leaderboard standings retrieved from the Epic Games API based on your search queries.
  • Epic Games account data: If you log in with Epic Games, we receive your display name and account ID via OAuth. We never receive or store your password.
  • Usage data: Standard web analytics (pages visited, browser type, approximate location) collected via Google Analytics.
  • Session cookies: Used to keep you logged in. They expire when you log out or close the browser session.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

  • Display Fortnite statistics and leaderboard rankings
  • Authenticate you when logging in with Epic Games
  • Improve the performance and features of our platform
  • Understand how users navigate and use the site
  • Respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Player statistics are cached temporarily to improve performance. Cached data is cleared periodically and we do not permanently store individual stats beyond what appears on leaderboards.

Leaderboard data is stored to power global rankings, including Epic Games account IDs and display names publicly associated with player accounts.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Epic Games API — Used to retrieve Fortnite game data. Subject to Epic Games' Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics — Used to understand site traffic. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
  • Hosting infrastructure — May process request metadata for performance and security.

5. Cookies

  • Session cookies: Maintain your login state.
  • Analytics cookies: Set by Google Analytics to track usage statistics.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features (like staying logged in) may be affected.

6. Children's Privacy

MyFortniteStats is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
